After spending a month with the AIA Track & Field Belgium team, I took advantage of being in Europe and did some traveling. I went to Paris, Ireland and Poland and had a blast. I was ready to come back to the States, but enjoyed my time in Europe!

Paris

The first stop after project was Paris. I spent most of my time with Jane Larson and we had fun discovering Paris together. We got some good recommendations from our good friend, Roel about places to see, so we mapped things out and went on our way. Our first stop was Notre Dame, then the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc and many, many things along the way.

Ireland

Next up was Ireland. I went to Belfast to visit my two friends, Neil and David and their family. I spent little over a week with them and got to relax, watch the European Track & Field Championships and see the country side. I LOVED it!

Poland

My last stop was Poland. I had been writing some of our distant relatives of ours for about 16 years and I was finally able to meet them. I spent two nights there in their small village (about 10 houses). It was difficult since I don’t know Polish and they don’t know English, but it was so good to finally be able to meet them and see where they live.
