I’ve Fallen In Love!

I know it’s weird, but I have found two loves – one I have known for awhile, one that is quite new. My old love is books. I just love books – there are so many to read and so little time to read them all. So many different topics, time periods, the options are endless!
My new love is the history of Rome, which in away can be tied to my first love. I have been watching the series “Rome” produced by HBO. It’s fascinating and has enlightened me so much about the history – the time period, the culture, the politics, the paganism, the brutality… The time period the series incorporates is with Julius Caesar, Brutus, Mark Antony and Octavian (Augustus). I find it fascinating how such people can control so much land and people.
