I’m Tired of Fighting It!

Ok, so I’m the type of person who boycotts anything Christmas before Thanksgiving…especially Christmas music. But this year seems to be different. I was working in the infant room at church and we put on some music. Well, of course they put on Christmas music. Initially I was upset and wanted to change it. But as the music kept playing and as I started singing, I just got happy. I’m tired of fighting it. I love the Christmas season! Last night my friend, Karly, and I watched Elf. What a fantastic movie. I love how Buddy the Elf is just so simply happy…naiive, yes, but just happy and cares for everyone else. We need more Buddys in this world.

I totally agree, I am usually very against Christmas anything before Thanksgving but for some reason this year was different. We even put our tree up on Monday – 3 days before Thanksgiving, I never would have done that before! Anyways, hope you had a great Thanksgiving and enjoy the rest of the Holiday Season.
