I arrived in the OH yesterday about 4pm. It was a long drive. We set off Friday after breakfast at our usual dive – Park Cafe in St. Paul Park (yummy food!) We drove to Ft. Atkinson, where my uncle Mike (my ma’s brother) and his wife Elizabeth live. We sat and visited with them, then we went to dinner with some of my supporters and one of my dad’s college friends. We went to Tru Tavern and Grill in Cambridge (good food again!) It snowed a wee bit, and it was the pretty snow :) I woke up a few times hoping it was time to get up, but it wasn’t. It was like the night before the first day of school! We got on the road about 8am and hit the stupid tolls near Chicago. We hit 8 of them with a total of $5.80. I’m just glad I don’t drive through that often (or I’d get one of those I-pass thingy’s). I kept myself entertained with Brian Regan’s Live CD (HILARIOUS!) and Bill Harvey’s Spanish Live (I’m trying to learn Spanish, just cause). My dad drove their car and my ma read the whole way.

We got here to Ohio and arrived at the house just fine. We unloaded all my junk and the Tims came over and we all went to the Training Center so my parents could see where I’ll be working. Then we all went out to dinner. After that, it was time to say g’bye to the Rents. They drove back to Indy, cause they have to drive allllllll the way back to MN today and wanted to get a head start. I came back to the house and unpacked all my stuff.

Off to church today…it will be difficult to find a good church, since I really loved my one back home.
