Trust in the Lord

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 1-3; Romans 7
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. ~ Proverbs 3:5
OBSERVATION:
This one’s pretty self-explanatory.
APPLICATION:
I have recited this proverb numerous times. There’s so much about my life, or in life in general that I just don’t understand. I can do one of two things. I can beat myself up trying to understand and get discouraged, or I can trust in God. Trust in Him that He’s got things under control.
I retract my last statement a bit. We should seek knowledge and understanding, but if we are unable to obtain it, we should then just trust in God.
PRAYER:
Father God, there’s a lot I don’t understand, or I don’t understand why certain things have happened. Thank you for taking my bitterness about things away. I place my trust in You.
