SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 36-37; Psalm 76; 1 Peter 1
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith – of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire – may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. ~ 1 Peter 1:6-7

OBSERVATION:
One of my athletes said to me, “Surviving struggles is what us Christians do.” It is because of our faith we go through trials and it is because of our faith we make it through. Struggles and trials are a part of our lives and when we get through, our faith is magnified.

APPLICATION:
I hate going through trials, but I am a better person because of them. I have been changed and most importantly, humbled. My faith will never perish, unless I choose to let it go. It cannot be stolen from me. And by holding onto my faith during trials, in the end, when Christ is revealed, I will know it was all worth it.

PRAYER:
Thank you, Lord, for making me a stronger person through my struggles. Thank you for allowing me to prove to you my faith in You through these struggles.
