SCRIPTURE:
Who is like the Lord our God, the one who sits enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?  ~Psalm 113:5-6

OBSERVATION:
When I think about kings and peasants, I envision a huge chasm between the two. So much separates the and in fact, the king is on high ground while the peasants wallow below. But our King, our Lord is not like any human king. There is no separation between the King of kings and His servants…if there is, it has NOTHING to do with the King, but everything to do with the decisions of the servants. our King doesn’t live in a palace upon a hill, but He resides in our hearts.

APPLICATION:
I am humbled when I think aout who God is and then realize He loves me as I am and looks at me as His child. I have a great inheritance waiting for me and nothing I did made me worthy to receive it. And even more so, he stoops down to me – He comes closer to me, which is great all in of itself.

PRAYER:
Abba, You are the King of kings and are like no other. Thank you for extending Your hand here on earth and watching over all of us. Continue to bless us, enlighten us and show us Your ways.   Amen.
