About Me

Looking back on my life, I can see how God orchestrated my life’s path to get me to where I am today.

I grew up in Cottage Grove, MN, a suburb of St. Paul. For as long as I can remember, I have been involved in sports. Eventually, I gravitated towards track & field, specifically the pole vault.

I attended St. Cloud State University and vaulted there.  After my freshman year, I was a 2x
All-American, a 2x Academic All-American and I broke both the indoor and outdoor school records in the pole vault. Yet that success could not fill my emptiness inside.

A teammate of mine invited me to Athletes in Action (AIA). Through my involvement with them, I first heard about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and accepted Him as my Savior.

After graduation, I got an internship at the University of Alabama, working in Athletic Academics and I continued to get more involved with AIA. I knew the Lord was calling me to full time ministry in 2006 when I joined AIA Track & Field on a summer project.

My passion is to develop relationships with athletes through our common bond of track & field and then expose them to the message from the One who filled my emptiness and changed my life – Jesus Christ.
